It has over a billion installs on Google Play alone, which is pretty wild. The app is free to play, but it does have in-game purchases for coins and custom items, which usually range from a dollar or two up to around ten bucks for bigger bundles. There are also some ads, but they're not too intrusive. While it's a mobile-first experience, its simple, iconic gameplay has made it a staple on phones for over a decade.

Playing Pou is all about simple, chill care. You feed it, clean up after it, play mini-games with it, and customize its room. The best part, for me, is the low-pressure, nostalgic vibe. It's not a game that demands hours of your time; you can just check in for a few minutes, play a quick game to earn coins, and buy a silly hat for your blob.
